I was unsure to either make this a regular upload or blog post, so I decided to make it a blog post and update, mainly to keep everyone in check on my whereabouts. I randomly came up with this idea back in 2017 out of inspiration and what I posted on the wiki's Bluesky account here. This was where I went full ham on a Discord channel meant for stuff related to my fan series, My Life as a Teenage Rabbot. Yes, the show itself does not physically exist and this alone was originally derived from a pitch bible I wrote back in 2017, but later stopped writing in 2019 due to my ongoing housing crisis at the time.

Ever since then, I never had the inspiration to actually fire up Microsoft Word and to actually add more, but yet why, though? This is generally due to some of what was mentioned in the Word document is already on the wiki alone, so there's probably no point in going back to the document itself, I think. As for the My Life as a Teenage Rabbot Wiki, I am still working on said wiki to this day solely by myself, which led to this skeet to ask for help. So, yes, a neurotypically disabled brain came up with this whole concept in 2017 and nearly 10 years later, it's still ongoing to this very day.

The coloring process is all done and over with for Ami Morrison! Yes, I'm refining her color palette a bit over here and her character design, let alone her signature newspaper carrying bag. It also doubles as a makeshift duffle bag for herself, too. I'm also reworking on the overall appearance of said bag as well, generally in choice of fonts. I'm also reworking on her hairstyle to make her less busy and easier to be drawn by anyone. Likewise, I prefer this hairstyle, by personal preference. Now that I'm done with her overall coloring, I'll have to redraw her jacket entirely due to me changing her appearance. Body type's the same as-is to the best of my abilities, though.

Hey, hey, hey! It's been a while since I last posted here, which was a few months ago. So, what's new with me over here? I know this looks like an absolute mess right now, but it's how it is for my workflow at times. “What's even going on here, Katelyn?!” you're probably asking right now. Ami looked a bit off in her character design from my perspective that I made in October 2024, so I'm revamping it from the ground up! 🥳

I'm trying to make her more pear-shaped as to what it says on her wiki article, so I'm going to be here for a while. I'm changing her hairstyle a bit and her outfit while giving her stomach some elbow room in addition to this. As for her color palette, I'm reworking on it a bit while recycling some older assets from her older designs, such as her face. Her tails will remain the same, though.

Now, what did I even do with the original .XCF file over here? I overwrote it, since it's not going to be much of a big difference, plus I don't think it's worth of re-uploading the EXACT same thing with a few bits and bobs changed. There's no point, so I saved over the one I made last year in October and working on this exact file itself. As for the detailed textures, those will be going away, since those really eat up on my SSD's space the more you add to the layer count.

After being on Twitter for over 14 years, I've finally called it quits and have deleted my account yesterday evening. Why, you ask? This is generally due to Elon's mishandling of the site, how it's going, and the whole AI bot thing that's stirring up a lot of hoo-ha over here. After 14 years of constant ups and downs and me being mentally drained to even post on there, I've had enough, and I finally had the urge to shut down my account on what was Twitter. However, where will I be?

For that, I'll also be available elsewhere, such as Discord and Bluesky, but largely both those social media sites as I'm active on there a lot. As for Bluesky, it'll be the new home for my ramblings and for the My Life as a Teenage Rabbot Wiki as well, too, since making a separate account for it probably wouldn't take off very far, honestly. So long Twitter, hello Bluesky. Besides, Twitter was just mentally draining for me, and it was just killing my will to post on there, so deleting my account was for the better good of myself and my mental health.

This is the result of what seven hours of constantly undoing and redoing minor edits looks like, but I'll say that the coloring process has begun. I also found the perfect color scheme for Pinewood Elementary as well, which shall be red and yellow! And yes, the school has the budget for a fully colored L.E.D. sign. More is to come.

Pinewood Elementary School is now on the My Life as a Teenage Rabbot Wiki! It's a skeleton page now, as I'm busy working on the overall background of it. So, as of now, it'll be an empty page, let alone a stub. For those that don't know, Pinewood Elementary School is a location that appears in My Life as a Teenage Rabbot. This is where Kate Anderson, Amelia Wilberson, Zooey Fitzpatrick, and Melody Sherwood go for their school education.

As of writing this, here's a screenshot of what I'm working with at the moment, which is the school itself.

Welp, time to start anew.

So, this occurred to me the other day…

Yeah, my Event Viewer entries were definitely telling me that, yes, my drive was dying! It was working perfectly fine the other day, but not anymore! It's dead.

My external drive that I had every saved image of my fan characters (including some that are no longer on DeviantArt, due to the person deactivating their account) is dead, meaning that whatever was on the drive (photos, videos, finished renders, etc.) is gone for good.

Like what I said on my Discord server, my backup drive's dying, and I'm trying to salvage whatever I can save now. I tried doing that, but to no avail. I also tried running chkdsk /scan twice, and it failed due to insufficient memory, even though I have four gigs of RAM. So, I'm afraid this drive's dead. RIP to what I had on my external drive. And that system image as well, that was up-to-date, too. :(

So, yeah. My drive's dead, can't access it, load anything, or do anything. Welp, time to shop for a new drive, or fish out my old one that's from my old 2019 HP Notebook laptop (I have two) and start over from scratch. With every single file.

When did this start to happen?

I did trace back where and how long this has been going on, and turns out that the drive was showing problems on December 13th, 2023 at around 4:50 PM. So, the drive started to show symptoms of dying, which I obliviously didn't notice until it was too late. Then again, the nasty fall it had when it fell off my desk by accident definitely didn't help to anything at all, too.

Couldn't really think of a clever title at almost 3:00 in the morning, so bear with me. Expect to see reposts from my DeviantArt account soon, though!
